How do I add a server configuration?

You can add server configurations in three ways:

• QR Code: Tap the scan button and point your camera at a configuration QR code
• Clipboard: Copy a configuration URL and tap "Import from Clipboard"
• Manual Entry: Enter server details manually in the Add Server screen

Which protocols are supported?

VPN Freeborn supports multiple protocols including VLESS, VMess, Shadowsocks, Trojan, SOCKS5, and HTTP. You can use any server that supports these protocols.

Why can't I connect to my server?

If you're having connection issues, try these steps:

• Verify your server configuration is correct
• Check that your server is online and accessible
• Try the ping feature to test server latency
• Ensure your internet connection is working
• Try a different protocol if available

Is my data private?

Yes. VPN Freeborn does not collect any personal data, browsing history, or connection logs. All your server configurations are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete a server configuration?

Swipe left on any server in your list to reveal the delete option, or tap Edit to manage multiple servers at once.

Can I use my own server?

Yes! VPN Freeborn is designed to work with servers you configure. You have full control over which servers you connect to.

How do I test my connection speed?

Once connected, use the built-in speed test feature to measure your download and upload speeds through your configured server.

The app crashed. What should I do?

If you experience a crash, please try restarting the app. If the issue persists, contact us at support@freeborn.app with details about what you were doing when the crash occurred.
